Primal Gestures, 2025

Instinctive movements. It expresses spontaneous, natural gestures that stem from the subconscious and the primal human experience.

The work is woven from Egyptian cotton, in a pattern traditionally used by women weavers to create the first undergarments worn. The use of a basic natural fiber, undyed and without any additional processing reflects simplicity and purity, as well as the deep significance fabric held as the primary material of covering, from birth to death.

Thread is one of the earliest forms of language.
